about

CHUCK is Charles Griffin Gibson. All songs written by Charles Griffin Gibson. All engineering done by Charles Griffin Gibson at multiple home studio set-ups, except for “Bodies (Studio)” and the live drums on “It’s Gonna Rain”, “Becky”, “Meow”, “Oceans (Electric)”, ”Kiss (For Janne)” and “Teenage TV”. Those were recorded at the Converse Rubber Tracks Studio in Brooklyn, NY by Brian Pugh. Louis Waxman played all those drums. He additionally provided vocals for “It’s Gonna Rain”, “Meow” and “Kiss (For Janne)”. Also, he played the the trumpet on “New Yorker”. Synthesizers on “Becky” and electric piano on “New Yorker” played by Jon Sirlin. All other instruments, vocals and noises by Charles Griffin Gibson. “Bulldog (Interlude)” uses a stock track called “Happy Rock (Royalty Free Music)” as well as several free samples from Freesound.org. “Grocery Store (Interlude)” was recorded with an iPhone SE at the Metropolitan Citymarket on Bedford Avenue in Bed-Stuy. “Happy Birthday” contains the Wilhelm Scream. Mixed by Charles Griffin Gibson. Mastered by Benjamin Shaw. Cover artwork by Inma Lorente. Album design & photograph by Charlie Rubin. Released by Audio Antihero. Vinyl record manufactured by Gotta Groove Records in Cleveland, OH. Special thanks to Jamie Halliday. This record would not exist without the loving support of Janne Harlem.
